Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you contact The Foundry, why we hold it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
The Foundry is a hospitality creative and consultancy business based in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email jackhardy1@live.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: your name, email address, business or venue name, the service you're interested in, an optional budget range and your message.
- Email correspondence that follows from your enquiry.
- Enquiry source details submitted alongside the form: the page you were on, the first page you landed on, the referring website (if any) and any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term). These are stored with the enquiry so we know how you found us. Where a value isn't available it is stored empty. We do not use cookies to build a visitor profile.
We do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a recommendation or quote, and to keep a record of work discussed. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Where it is stored
Enquiries submitted through the form are stored in our own secure hosted database, which is not publicly readable. Access is limited to The Foundry. Email correspondence sits with our email provider.
Sharing
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. It is handled by The Foundry and by the hosting and email providers that operate our systems on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your details, we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jackhardy1@live.com and we'll deal with it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies. Any analytics used is limited to understanding which pages are visited, and does not attempt to identify individuals.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page. See also our terms.
