Service
Operator-led hospitality consultancy.
Commercial advice from someone who still operates. Offer, pricing, positioning, launches, service flow and trading-period planning — available on its own, or included alongside creative delivery.
What we advise on
- Offer and menu strategy — what to sell, at what price, and what it does to margin and kitchen load.
- Positioning — who the venue is for and why they'd choose it over the site down the road.
- Launches and repositioning — sequencing the work so opening week isn't the first test of the plan.
- Trading-period planning — identifying the sessions that need filling and what will realistically fill them.
- Customer journey and service flow — arrival, order, pace and the points where teams lose spend.
- Marketing spend — whether the problem is the content, the offer or the product.
Verified operator proof
The advice is grounded in operating experience rather than theory. Starting with one independent venue, Jack Hardy built and operated the business without external investment, expanding it into a four-site hospitality group with approximately £2 million in combined annual turnover, grown and exited within a five-year period.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy consultancy without a monthly package?

Is consultancy included in the creative packages?

Who delivers the sessions?
Jack Hardy, founder of The Foundry. He worked from the floor up before bootstrapping one independent venue into a four-site hospitality group, and remains an active operator today.
What do I get at the end?
Clear next actions. The Half-Day Venue Review is written up with recommendations, and package clients get a monthly or quarterly action plan depending on the level.
